Root canal treatment in Lahore
Root canal treatment saves a tooth whose nerve is infected or inflamed. We clean and seal the inside of the root under local anaesthesia, so the pain goes and you keep your own tooth. Complex and repeat cases are seen with our visiting consultant endodontist.

Root canal treatment, answered
Anything else, just ask on WhatsApp. A real person replies.
Does root canal treatment hurt?
With local anaesthesia it feels much like a long filling. The tooth may be tender for a few days afterwards, which ordinary painkillers handle.
How many visits does it take?
Usually one to three, depending on the tooth and how much infection there is.
Do I need a crown after a root canal?
Back teeth usually do, because a root treated tooth becomes more brittle. Front teeth sometimes only need a filling.
Is it better to just take the tooth out?
Extraction costs less on the day, but the gap lets neighbouring teeth drift and usually needs an implant, bridge or denture later. Saving your own tooth is usually the better choice when it can be saved.
