Tooth extraction and wisdom teeth in Lahore
When a tooth cannot be saved, or a wisdom tooth is stuck and causing trouble, we remove it gently under local anaesthesia. Difficult wisdom teeth are seen with our visiting consultant oral and maxillofacial surgeon.

Examination and X-ray
We confirm the tooth cannot be saved and see the shape of its roots.
Numbing
Local anaesthesia so you feel pressure, not pain.
Removal
The tooth is eased out gently. Impacted wisdom teeth may need a small surgical procedure.
Gauze and instructions
You bite on gauze and go home with a written aftercare card.

Extractions and wisdom teeth, answered
Anything else, just ask on WhatsApp. A real person replies.
Will a tooth extraction hurt?
The area is fully numbed, so you feel pressure rather than pain. Expect some soreness for a few days, which ordinary painkillers handle.
What is a dry socket?
When the blood clot in the socket is lost too early, the bone underneath becomes painful. Not smoking, not spitting and not using straws for the first days protects the clot.
Should I have my wisdom teeth removed?
Only if they are causing problems or are likely to, such as repeated swelling, decay or damage to the tooth in front. An X-ray tells us.
What should I do about the gap?
Front gaps and gaps that affect chewing are usually best replaced with an implant, bridge or denture. We go through the options with you.
